The verification of GPON / XGS-PON ONU adherence to the relevant BBF and ITU-T technical specifications, with the use of an OLT Emulator

Check if the device you introduce to the network is compliant with the standards and whether the equipment passes the TP-247 test plan. Verify the conformance of GPON / XGS-PON ONUs to the standard requirements (defined in TR-156 and TR-280), OMCI adherence to the practices described in Appendix I and II of G.988.

02 Interop

Have you already verified the compliance of the ONU with the standards? As the next step you can check, in a real scenario, whether the OLT – ONU equipment communicates correctly.

Based on the already deployed OLT in your network, use the xPON Analyzer to check whether communication between the OLT and the ONU is fully functional. Tests are conducted in accordance with BBF Test Plans: TR-255 and TR-309.
